Prior this week, MTV’s Josh Horowitz prodded his forthcoming meeting with Alien: Covenant star Michael Fassbender on Twitter, saying that it appears to be likely that the performer will repeat his part as Erik Lehnsherr, otherwise known as Magneto, for X-Men: Dark Phoenix. All things considered, today that meeting was released in full and you can hear for yourself why Horowitz believes Fassbender’s awful mutant is returning.
In the meeting on Horowitz’s Happy Sad Confused podcast (by means of MTV), the host inquired as to whether he may show up as Magneto again in any of the arranged X-Men movies, to which the on-screen character reacted with, “Conceivably, better believe it – likely.” Horowitz then approached Fassbender to flicker for Dark Phoenix or New Mutants, and as per him (since it’s a sound podcast and we can’t see him), he squinted for the X-Men: Apocalypse development, Dark Phoenix.
Horowitz affirmed the flicker in the accompanying tweet.

In a meeting with Cinema Blend discharged before today, maker Hutch Parker proposed that a portion of the characters from the last X-Men set of three, which started with 2011’s X-Men: First Class, could show up in the film. Those characters may incorporate Magneto, Professor X (James McAvoy), Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), Beast (Nicholas Hoult) and Moira MacTaggert (Rose Byrne). Likewise, a few of the more youthful mutants that joined the group in Apocalypse are relied upon to show up. That lineup of mutants incorporates Jean Gray (Sophie Turner), Cyclops (Tye Sheridan), Nightcrawler (Kodi Smit-McPhee), Storm (Alexandra Shipp), Jubilee (Lana Condor) and Quicksilver (Evan Peters). Likewise, another cycle of Rogue has been supposed to show up, yet that presently can’t seem to be affirmed.
X-Men: Dark Phoenix is slated for a November 2, 2018 discharge. Josh Boone’s The New Mutants, featuring Maisie Williams as Wolfsbane and Anya Taylor-Joy as Magik, will hit theaters April 13, 2018.
