Anya Taylor-Joy (The Witch and Split) and Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones) are formally joining the X-Men Cinematic Universe as they have both marked on to join “The New Mutants” film. Taylor has been tapped to play Magik who is depicted as “a young lady who has learned witchcraft and utilizations teleportation circles to travel.”
Williams is set to play Wolfsbane who is depicted as “a young lady attempting to accommodate her religious convictions with her energy to transform into a wolf.” The film will be directed by Josh Boone who likewise co-composed script with Knate Gwaltney. The production is being expected to begin this July as New Mutants was authoritatively planned for a 2018 release.
The New Mutants isn’t the main X-Men film that is turning out one year from now, as Deadpool 2 featuring Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson and Josh Brolin as Cable, will be out on June 1, 2018. Notwithstanding that, X-Men: Dark Phoenix will touch base toward the finish of 2018 on November 2.
The New Mutants land in theaters on April 13, 2018.
