Shazam! executive David F. Sandberg has been laying somewhat low via web-based networking media starting late as he is right now shooting the up and coming DC standalone film, however, he set aside some opportunity to share a unique card to say thanks from the film’s star, Zachary Levi.
Levi stars as the main hero in the movie that takes after Billy Batson (Asher Angel) who can change into a grown-up superhuman with the energy of six fanciful divine beings in the wake of saying “Shazam.” It’s the principal part as a hero for the Chuck alum and he’s ensuring his chief knows the amount he acknowledges the open door the play the notable DC character.
You can look at Sandberg’s post beneath.
Shazam! stars Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Grace Fulton, Jack Dylan Grazer, Cooper Andrews, Marta Milans, Faithe Herman, Ian Chen, Jovan Armand and Mark Strong as Doctor Sivana.
Here’s the official synopsis:
“We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s (Angel) case, by shouting out one word—SHAZAM!—this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam (Levi), courtesy of an ancient wizard. Still, a kid at heart—inside a ripped, godlike body—Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he shoot lightning out of his hands? Can he skip his social studies test? Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he’ll need to master these powers quickly in order to fight the deadly forces of evil controlled by Dr. Thaddeus Sivana (Strong).”
Shazam! hits theaters on April 5, 2019.
